The Round Rock ISD Flipped Classroom

The term "flipped classroom" is so new to the educational vernacular that it is open to wide interpretation. In Round Rock ISD, we have developed a clear model of what the flipped classroom should look like in our district as well as how to implement it. This session will introduce teachers to the RRISD Flipped Classroom Model and provide tools for them to take back and use in their own classrooms.

Anne Mattingly earned a bachelor's degree in History at Indiana University and a teaching certification in Social Studies and Science from Northern Illinois University. After teaching both subjects in Illinois for two years, she moved to Texas and spent three years in Round Rock ISD teaching Biology, Inclusion Biology, and eventually AP Biology as well.
