Google Forms to save your sanity

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

I have launched out and started using Google Forms for all types of data collection with my students and department. Some examples are Google Form to collect Student Data at the beginning of the year, Parent Data through Parent Night and email, student cooperative work to crowd source information and finally, to collect data from my department and be able to manipulate that data.

There are many other uses, but I grabbed on to those and learned Google Forms through them. That is my advice to teachers who shy away from technology. Pick one thing and go from there. Make mistakes and try again.

I am a 10 year "learner" in RRISD at McNeil High School. I teach World History to Sophomores. My philosophy is to try to learn something new every day and have applied this to technology as well. As a BIG fan of Star Wars and Star Trek, I guess my curiosity about technology is natural. Some might think that technology is only for CATE classes, but I can tell you it is very much in the Liberal Arts as well.
