Google Drive in the Elementary Classroom
Ever feel like your teacher brain took a vacation? In this session, we will explore real-life, creative and engaging examples of ways to use Google Drive in the elementary classroom. Presenters will show how they've implemented Google Drive in their classrooms even though they are not GAFE district wide. Presenters will also explore ways to use Google Drive with not only students, but parents and staff as well.

Tour de Paris
Students use Google Search and Earth (3D) to research historical destinations of ancient Paris. They will collect information and pictures in a Google Docs. Screenshots of the 3D images will be part of data collection. They use Maps Engine Lite to place markers on the destinations and lines to connect them, creating a map for tourists to use as a walking guide. The information, pictures and map are combined in a Presentation that will then be embedded onto a shared Google site for tourists to use as a walking tour guide.(Could also become a flipbook.)
