Attendees will learn how to use the five components of Google Drive. They will see student work in Google documents, presentations, sheets draw and forms. Best practices for using Drive with students will also be discussed.

Many teachers are scared to take on more and Hour of Code may sound very foreign to them. I would like to demonstrate how easily they can implement the program in their classroom and make it age appropriate for the different elementary grades. I will show them a variety of approved programs that we can use in the classroom to show our students the joy of computer science and writing code.
I have 17 years of experience in education from 1st grade to 12th grade in Dual Language, ESL, and Spanish levels 1-IV AP. I am currently an instructional coach.

The term "flipped classroom" is so new to the educational vernacular that it is open to wide interpretation. In Round Rock ISD, we have developed a clear model of what the flipped classroom should look like in our district as well as how to implement it. This session will introduce teachers to the RRISD Flipped Classroom Model and provide tools for them to take back and use in their own classrooms.
